Maryland - Kits Across America
Regular price 50.00
Unit price per
Part of the O&Y Kits Across America Series. 50% of sales go directly to the designer and 25% of sales go to a charity of the designer's choice in their home state.
Maryland earned the nickname “The Old Line State” during the Revolutionary War when their soldiers, The Maryland Line, helped turn the tide of the Revolutionary War. If you have the coolest flag in America, you use it for inspiration. The black and gold colors, and the pattern on the cuff of the sleeves, come from the Calvert coat of arms which is half of the Maryland flag. The shirt has the number 7 because Maryland was the 7th state admitted to the Union.
25% of the proceeds will go to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation: Our motto, "Save the Bay," is a regional rallying cry for pollution reduction throughout the Chesapeake's six-state, 64,000-square-mile watershed, which is home to more than 18 million people and 3,000 species of plants and animals.
The Old Line Kit was designed by Brad Parker, a freelance designer and Crystal Palace supporter (@CrystalPalaceDC). Brad has also created corporate logos, style guides, and a t-shirt line called Sauce FC: https://www.redbubble.com/people/BradPCPFC/shop
